Gynecomastia Surgery with Dr. Tantawi
Male breast (chest) reduction, also called gynecomastia surgery, is an outpatient plastic surgery procedure that corrects the enlargement of benign male breast tissue that’s caused by a hormonal imbalance (gynecomastia). During the procedure, Dr. Tantawi removes unwanted glandular breast tissue and excess fat using a combination of surgical techniques and liposuction. The procedure usually lasts between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the amount of tissue and fat that is removed. Once removed, the pecs are sculpted into a new shape that is in proportion with the rest of the physique.
