Dr. Diya Tantawi- Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS)

Beauty Refined’s medical director, Dr. Diya Tantawi, is a Double Board-Certified cosmetic plastic surgeon with extensive surgical experience and academic training.

Dr. Tantawi is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps. He is the recipient of multiple badges and awards, and he is very proud to have served American troops in the U.S. Army in active-duty and reserve capacities. He was deployed in support of:

• Operation Enduring Freedom
• Operation New Dawn
• Operation Spartan Shield.

He is highly regarded throughout Palm Desert and the entire Coachella Valley, for his high-level of technical skills and artistry in carrying out cosmetic procedures as well as his warm and compassionate bedside manner.

Dr. Tantawi completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center/ Long Island Jewish Health system in East Meadow, New York. Dr. Tantawi was voted “Outstanding Clinical Instructor” at Nassau University Medical Center.  

Dr. Tantawi is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
